Dr. Mario Bovino
Mario Bovino, B.A, B.Sc., D.C. D.Ac. Has been practicing in Manitoba since 1998. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Psychology in 1992. In his third year of studies he shifted his focus on the field of healthcare as a natural extension of his own interests. He began a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Manitoba and completed it at the National College Of Chiropractic in Illionois in 1996. Concurrently he worked on his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and graduated with honors from the National College Of Chiropractic in 1998. While attending the National College of Chiropractic, Doctor Bovino studied Acupuncture, Physical Therapeutics and Flexion Distraction Technique completing certification in all three areas.
While in private practice he has furthered his knowledge of acupuncture through continuing education courses. In November 2003 he completed his first level in GTT (Gokavi Transverse Technique) and complete the advanced level October 2004. By mid 2004 Doctor Bovino had completed all three levels of Active Release Techniques certification. A strong believer in taking a multidisciplined approach to healthcare Dr. Bovino’s training makes him highly equipped to diagnose and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal complaints quickly and effectively.
